Grand Teton National Park Lodging

If you’re planning to visit Grand Teton National Park this year, you will want to choose a place to stay during your visit. The park offers a few different lodging options for visitors who wish to stay inside the national park. Jackson Lake Lodge, Colter Bay Village, and Jenny Lake Lodge are all located inside Grand Teton National Park, and they each offer different amenities and ambiences.

Colter Bay Village is also a popular lodging option in Grand Teton National Park. Tucked along the shores of Jackson Lake, the Colter Bay Village is just that, a whole village. Accommodations range from cabins to an RV park. Cabins do not have televisions, radios or telephones. There are two restaurants, launderette and showers, a grocery store, gift and apparel shops, corrals, service station and a full service marina. The cabins at Colter Bay offer a variety of sizes and floorplans with some sleeping up to six people. Some of these cabins even belonged to the original settlers! Most cabins have a private bathroom with shower. Cabins with a private bath are available for $119 to $165 per night while cabins without a private bathroom rent for $65 nightly. There are also a limited number of two room cabins with a connecting bathroom that are available at a nightly rate of $179 to $219.

Jackson Lake Lodge is a popular choice due to the combination of its location and rates. Jackson Lake Lodge is located on a bluff overlooking the beautiful waters of Jackson Lake with the Teton skyline in the background. There are 348 guest cottage rooms located on either side of the lodge with an additional 37 guest rooms in the main lodge. The upper lobby at Jackson Lake Lodge boasts magnificent 60-foot picture windows which frames the beauty and grandeur of the Teton Mountain Range. In addition, walls of the lodge are carefully decorated with an extensive collection of Native American artifacts and Western artwork. Amenities include two dining facilities, a cocktail lounge, a heated outdoor swimming pool, gift and apparel shops, numerous activities nearby, a service station, medical clinic, telephones, voice mail, data ports, and conference facilities. However, rooms in the Jackson Lake Lodge do not include any televisions or radios. Rates vary with view rooms renting for $289 to $319 per night and non-view rooms for $229 to $239 per night.

Finally, there is the Jenny Lake Lodge, which offers inclusive luxury accommodations inside the park. These elegant western-style cabins are equipped with down comforters and hand-made quilts. Although the cabins do not include any televisions or radios, they are located on Jenny Lake at the base of the majestic Teton Mountain Range. Views in the area are spectacular, and the rates include a 4 diamond experience with breakfast, dinner, horseback riding, bicycling, and hiking. The view of the mountains from the main lodge is spectacular with hiking trails and three lakes within easy walking distance. The nightly rates include a gourmet breakfast, five-course dinner, horseback rides, bicycling, and hiking each day. The elegant cabins rent for a nightly rate of $620, and suites are also available for $800 to $885 per night.
